Knew this would happen... it's obviously clear, this feature ( personalized painting ) is a prime source of voicing-out your views - good and bad ( just like in t-shirts ). It's a virtual canvas/billboard meant to be shown and it's there for the avid artists in us to manipulate. It's a very good idea, only ruined by users' whose got a different outlook - that is to shock/give offence/humiliate/ruin the community...
This game is a for rent only title. Looks like it will suck even with ground deformation feature.
Good on Sony/Polyphony and Kaunori-san for pushing this series ( GT-5 ) to be done properly, even if it takes more time. I believe a lot of race-fan gamers would agree. This will give them more time to push the bounderies further and this game alone will define the power of the PS3 ( graphics/physics ). Sony in trouble?! Nah, it's just sheer frustration from a lot of gamers who can't get their fix. And truth be told, most of their comments ( whether it be a positive or a negative ) are all true - Yes, the excessive price, very low game titles, snails pace upcoming games, blu-ray movies given more preference when console came-out, sixaxis - non-enable force feedback etc... all valid. But Sony going down, not in a million years.

GranTurismo HD has the best graphics on any driving/racing games - period. But it would be best to wait for GranTurismo 5, as this game would have everything that any racing gamer would ever want on this type of genre:
1. Possibly more improved graphics than GT-HD.
2. In-car camera viewpoints ( 4 angles )
3. Possible/probable real-sim damage mode
4. More variety of vehichles
5. More additional tracks ( GT-HD included )

Can anyone please tell us how we can do this stuff to our cars? Just even the basics. Love your work!!! What more if they can actually have a real exibition to preview on a few motorshows, whether it be on the screen ( virtual ) or on one of those rotating platforms with an actual car ( real ).
It's quite a good game ( Forza2 ) and thought the sim-physics did'nt disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed the painting/modding feature of the game, and I'm really hoping that on the next series they would finally put an in-car camera viewpoint which was the only missing ingredient.
They have moved DIRT: Colin McRae on the first week of July, no complaint here. And am eagerly anticipating for this one as well.
